ジェウォン・リュ氏は、貿易と展示会分野において32年以上の専門的な経験を有している。2022年12月より、KINTEXでは展示会場の貸出や運営業務部門の統括最高責任者をしている。また、韓国MICE協会の理事やUFIアジアの副会長も務め、展示会とMICE業界の発展に尽力している。
KINTEX以前は、2020-2022年にKOTRA（大韓貿易投資振興公社）の副社長を務め、輸出業者と海外パートナーとのコネクションを効率化するビッグデータプラットフォーム「Tribig」や、外資系企業のネットワークを強化する「Business+ Forum」を主導し、デジタル変革プロジェクトを指揮した。

2017-2020年にはKOTRAマドリードの事務局長として、FITURやMWCなどスペインの主要国際展示会で韓国パビリオンを管理した。2015年から2017年まではKOTRAのビジネス能力開発部門を率い、ドバイ2020や大阪2025などの国際博覧会への韓国パビリオンの参加に向けて指揮をとった。

リュ氏は崇実大学で経営学博士号、KDIスクールで海外直接投資の修士号、中央大学で国際貿易学士号を取得。英語、スペイン語、日本語に堪能で、産業功労勲章などの栄誉に輝き、世界貿易と投資に関する著作も出版している。

Dr. Jayone Lyu brings over 32 years of expertise in trade and exhibitions. Since December 2022, he has served as Chief Business Officer at KINTEX, overseeing exhibition hall leasing and show organization. He also serves as a Director of the Korea MICE Association and as Vice-Chair of UFI Asia, dedicating himself to advancing the exhibition and MICE industries.

Prior to KINTEX, Lyu served as Executive Vice President at KOTRA (2020–2022), where he led digital transformation projects like "Tribig," a big data platform streamlining exporter connections with overseas partners and launched the "Business+ Forum" to strengthen foreign-invested companies' networks.

As Director General at KOTRA Madrid (2017–2020), Lyu managed Korean pavilions at major international exhibitions in Spain, including FITUR and MWC. From 2015 to 2017, he led KOTRA’s Business Capability Development Department, overseeing Korea’s participation in global expos like Dubai 2020 and Osaka 2025.

Dr. Lyu holds a PhD in Business Administration from SoongSil University, a Master’s in Foreign Direct Investment from KDI School, and a Bachelor’s in International Trade from ChungAng University. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Japanese, he has earned distinctions such as the Industrial Service Medal and has published works on global trade and investment.
