PCOとして国際会議の運営に約20年従事した後、2017年から札幌コンベンションビューローで国際会議の誘致・開催支援、戦略策定等に携わる。主催者と地域の学術研究や産業をつなぎ、会議の開催効果を高める機会を探るとともに、日本から唯一の加盟都市であるGDS-Movementを担当、ビジネスイベントを通じた持続可能な都市の実現に取り組んでいる。

With over 20 years of experience in the meeting industry, starting as a congress manager at a PCO, Megumi joined Sapporo Convention Bureau in 2017. She manages the international association meetings sales team and leads the development of business events strategy, sustainability (e.g., GDS-Movement) and positive impact programs for the bureau.
